For making me shine, they are the key.

The above mentioned lines are the mantra that we perfume enthusiasts live by. We might miss anything but wearing those powerful and magnetic drops of pure bliss and comfort is something we won’t miss for the world.

Hola Amigos! We are back with an aromatic bang and today, we are going to take you on a roller coaster ride of the perfume industry.

Perfumes date back to the time of the Indus Valley Civilization, ancient; aren’t they? The world’s first recorded perfume maker was a woman who created a fragrance by distilling flowers, oil, calamus, and other aromatics together.

The journey of fragrance in India can mostly be attributed to its perfume capital- Kannauj, which has been crafting oil-based botanical perfumes called “attar” using time-based distillation methods. Since the 20th century, Kannauj perfumers have continued to ply their craft the same old-fashioned way, recently awakening a new generation, not just in the Indian market but at the global level too, to the allure of its magnetic and sensual scents.

Thus, it would be safe to say that even in the global scenario, the Indian market has been doing really well in terms of its production as well as consumption of different kinds of fragrances and looking at the numbers stated above, the graph is bound to take an upward trend in the times to come.
